In December, ParkLake becomes the hub of holiday joy and magic, offering visitors unforgettable experiences. The Christmas Market, the interactive Christmas Expedition exhibition, and meetings with Santa Claus await children and adults alike, while the charity event “A Cup of Happiness” brings moments of solidarity and support for community causes.
Every activity transforms ParkLake into an unforgettable destination, where the joy of the holidays blends seamlessly with opportunities to support social causes.
Christmas Market: The Magic of the Holidays at ParkLake
From November 24 to December 23, the holiday spirit fills ParkLake with the opening of the Christmas Market. Visitors are invited to explore a carefully curated selection of gifts, decorations, and traditional treats that bring joy and warmth to the festive season.
Christmas Expedition: An Interactive Exhibition Bringing the Arctic Closer
From December 6 to 23, children are invited to discover Christmas Expedition, an interactive exhibition combining play and technology for captivating and educational adventures. Kids can help a penguin navigate icebergs or embark on a journey guiding the penguin to its final destination, interact with a polar bear hologram, explore Arctic landscapes, build a virtual snowman using hand gestures, or reunite a baby penguin with its family.
Even more, children’s creativity comes to life—literally—as their drawings transform into an animated train. At the end, each explorer will receive a unique virtual souvenir to preserve the magic of the experience.
Meet Santa Claus
From December 19 to 23, Santa Claus visits ParkLake to bring the holiday magic closer to children. From 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on weekdays and from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM on weekends, kids can meet Santa, listen to his enchanting stories, and share their wishes, which will make their way straight to the North Pole.
A Cup of Happiness: The Magic of Giving
From December 6 to 15, “A Cup of Happiness” brings the warmth of the holidays closer to visitors’ hearts. Over two weekends (December 6–8 and 13–15), from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM, guests can enjoy a sweet surprise in personalized mugs supporting a charitable cause in a cozy Christmas atmosphere.
During the weekdays (December 9–12), volunteers will be present from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, offering everyone the chance to contribute to a good deed that can bring smiles and hope. Each distributed mug is a symbol of solidarity, with donations supporting a noble cause: the Pediatric Neurology Clinic of “Prof. Dr. Alexandru Obregia” Clinical Psychiatric Hospital.
