Israel, intense negotiations with Romania, Czech Republic and Latvia on relocating the embassies to Jerusalem, sources say

The Israeli Government is intensely negotiating with Romania, Czech Republic and Latvia the relocating of their embassies from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, diplomatic sources quoted by ziare.com say, the contacts being confirmed by a representative of the Israeli Foreign Ministry.

According to ‘Suddeutsche Zeitung’ there is no progress yet, but the relocation is analysed by the three eastern-European countries, the above mentioned sources said.

Israeli Deputy Foreign Minister Tzipi Hotovely claims the countries have expressed interest to relocate the embassies to Jerusalem, Romanian diplomatic sources also say, a development confirmed by the Israeli radio station Arutz Sheva.

Hotovely said the countries could not be mentioned, but some of them are in Europe. We keep them covered as they under intense pressure coming from the Arab world and from other European countries, Tzipi Hotovely said, ziare.com informs.
