The National meteorology Administration (ANM) has issued a new weather warning for bad weather and a Code Yellow warning.
The Code Yellow comes into force as of Thursday, 21.00h and will last until Friday, 21.00h.
During this interval, it will rain in most of the country, mainly in the hilly and mountainous areas, with water quantities exceeding 15-20 litres per square metre and 30-40 litres per square metre on isolates areas.
On isolated areas, the rainfall will become torrential and will be accompanied by electric discharges and wind gusts, hail on isolated areas.
The most affected regions will be Moldavia, south-eastern Transylvania, Maramures and northern Muntenia and Oltenia.
The water quantities will reach 20-30 litres per square metre and 50-60 litres per square metre on isolated areas.
