The National Meteorology Administration (ANM) has issued on Thursday a new Code Yellow warning for storms. The code will come into force Thursday evening at 23:00h, after the expiry of the one that is still in force. The new warning will be in force until Saturday night at 21:00h
The warning concerns Moldavia, southern and eastern Transylvania, certain areas of Dobrogea and Muntenia, as well as the mountainous areas. The meteorologists announce that there will be intervals with high atmospheric instability, with torrential rain, frequent electric discharges, wind gusts and isolated hail.
The quantities of water will exceed 20-25 litres per square metre and on isolated areas 50-70 litres per square metre.
