Bucharest City Hall has filed for EUR 283 M EU funds

Bucharest City Hall has required European funds worth EUR 283 million to carry out several investments in the Capital city. More precisely, the city hall run by Gabriela Firea wants to buy 100 trams and 100 electric buses.

A city hall’s press release announces that eight grant applications for EU funding have been filed on May 17 this year to purchase 100 trams, an investment that mounts to around EUR 220 million. The non-refundable financial assistance is EUR 176,4 M.

Other four grant applications have been filed on June 20, 2018 to buy 100 electric buses.
