There are approximately 582 million entrepreneurs in the world today, which means 1 in every 13 people own their own business. RS Components have mapped where these new business owners are throughout Europe to reveal which European countries are nurturing entrepreneurship.
The top 3 countries with the most new business owners are: Estonia, Montenegro and Turkey, while Romania ranks 11th with 10.8% of entrepreneurs share.
The United Kingdom ranks in 17th place in Europe with 8.2% of the country being entrepreneurs.
Estonia, for instance, has turned entrepreneurship into the engine of its economy, the study says, as it’s laws and measures support its citizens to set up their own business.
