US-based 3Pillar Global, a leading developer of innovative technology solutions, has inaugurated its third development centre in Romania, in Iasi, a press release informs.
“Iasi proved to be the ideal choice for us and our objective is to replicate the success we have had so far with our centres already open in Cluj-Napoca and Timisoara. Like the other two cities where we operate successfully in Romania, Iasi is a dynamic city that manages to attract top talent with special technical abilities. We are very excited that we have already been able to bring new colleagues here and we aim to increase our team substantially by the end of this year. 3Pillar Global addresses those IT specialists who want to be part of highly-performing teams and develop products based on state-of-the-art technologies in a company with a special organizational culture,” 3Pillar Global founder and CEO David DeWolf said.
Hosted by the Moldova Business Centre in the center of Iasi, the development centre covers 700 sqm and will employ about 50 engineers and IT specialists, the release reads. 3Pillar Global plans to hire 50 more at its Iasi centre by the end of the year.
The company is currently seeking to attract senior and middle-level specialists with a minimum of 2 years experience in IT and proven skills in technologies used to develop web applications such as Java, Phyton, mobile apps and testing.
The company announced since 2016 the intention of expanding its operations in Romania or region. Iasi was the option chosen by the company’s management which took into account several factors: the existance of an important university center and a high number of IT graduates, the qualification level of IT specialists and their availability on labor market, the expansion possibilities of operations and the infrastructure of the city.
The company entered Romanian market in 2009 and employs some 450 people in its two development centres in Cluj-Napoca and Timisoara. 3Pillar Global was founded in 2006 in Fairfax, Virginia. Besides the United States, the company has offices in Romania, India and the UK, where some 800 people work.
