US software development company 3Pillar Global, locally present since 2009, opens its third development center in Romania in Iasi, capital.ro.
The new unit will be operational in the second half of May, a few months before the deadline initially set.
The development center in Iasi will be the third in Romania, after the one in Cluj-Napoca (2009) and Timisoara (2012) and the fifth worldwide.
“Opening a new development center is an important step for 3Pillar Global. We have explored a number of options and we were impressed by everything the city of Iasi has to offer. With a cultural life extremely tender, a large number of talents and an advanced technology sector which goes through a period of accelerated development, Iasi is the ideal city to attract new members in 3Pillar Global team. The center in this region will be a key component of 3Pillar Global’s global increase strategy,” David DeWolf, CEO 3Pillar Global stated.
This year, 3Pillar Global seeks to hire 50 IT specialists in the center of Iasi and to exceed 100 by 2018. The company aims to attract specialists with experience of at least 2 years and proven competence in technologies used for developing web applications (Java, Python, Ruby on Rails, Front End) and mobile app (iOS and Android).
