7 young Romanians on the Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe List 2023
The American Forbes magazine also included 7 Romanians on the European list of successful young people in certain fields, Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe 2023.
The eighth European edition of the Forbes list includes 300 young founders, leaders and entrepreneurs from 10 fields such as entertainment, media & marketing, science, retail/ecommerce, social impact, art and culture, technology or sports and games.

Cristiana Banila cofounded Mitra Bio, which aims to use epigenetic biomarkers to track skin aging – a technique it says could replace biopsies or animal models. The company says these biomarkers could also lead to new rejuvenation compounds that work on human skin while targeting root causes of aging. Mitra Bio has raised $1.5 million from investors including Illumina Accelerator and Oxford Foundry.

David Gorgan is CEO of Berlin-based Nostos Genomics, which has developed AI decision-support software to help labs and hospitals interpret the rey hours down to a few minutes,” giving scientists more time to focus on the toughest cases. Nostos has raised $5.3 million from venture firms.

Cristian Dan, Cofounder, Yayzy, an eco-fintech that has raised over $1.5 million and expanded to 30 countries. The company helps banks enable climate action by tracking and offsetting their customers’ CO2 impact. Yayzy has partnered with IBM and has supported user connection to 2500+ banks. They plan to raise another $4 million to become the leading climate action solutions provider for financial institutions.
