The Romanian-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (AHK Romania) has a new president, who replaces the Romanian entrepreneur Dragoș Anastasiu, who has reached the end of his term.
Andreas Lier, CEO of BASF Romania, was elected president of AHK Romania, the organization announced on Friday, in a press statement. The mandate of the president of AHK Romania Dragoș Anastasiu, known for his business in tourism and transport, as Eurolines Romania and Green Village, has expired this year.
The new president of the business organization, Andreas Lier, was elected in 2020 to the Board of Directors.

Andreas Lier is the fourth President of AHK Romania, established in 2002, after Karl-Josef Baum, Radu Merica and Dragoș Anastasiu. New members of the Board of Directors were elected: Volker Raffel – E.ON Romania SRL and Petru Rușeț – Siemens Energy SRL.
