Air Moldova resumes Chisinau-Bucharest flights

The Republic of Moldova’s national carrier, Air Moldova, reintroduces the flights between Chisinau and Bucharest starting with December 19th.

Chisinau-Bucharest route will be operated with a frequency of six times a week, excepting Saturdays, with an Embraer 190 aircraft, Moldova.org announced. The airline dropped the flights on the Chisinau – Bucharest route in February 2015.

Prices of airline tickets offered by Air Moldova are cheaper than those of Romanian air carrier Tarom. For example, for the January 14 – 18, 2017 period, a round-trip ticket costs EUR 99, while Tarom posts for the same route a price of EUR 131.

Air Moldova operates flights to 25 destinations such as Athens, Antalya, Barcelona, Bologna, Brussels, Dublin, Frankfurt, Istanbul, Heraklion, Larnaca, Lisbon, London, Madrid, Milan, Moscow, Paris, Rome, Venice, Verona, Vienna St. Petersburg, Turin and Florence, including seasonal flights – Tivat and Rhodes.

The company has a fleet of six aircrafts, with an average age of 15.6 years.
