The National Agency for Fiscal Administration (ANAF) has assigned to three banks – Banca Transilvania, BCR and Garanti Bank – the contract on acquisition of accepting online payments of taxes, fees, contributions and other amounts to the general consolidated budget. The payment is made with through National Electronic Payment System.
The contract value is RON 1.87 million (no VAT).
According to an announcement posted on the website of the Electronic System of Public Procurement (SEAP), the procedure was an open tender and the lowest price was the award criteria.
Four bids were submitted, but only three were admissible. Contract covered by the agreement on public contracts and should not be subcontracted.
The contract was assigned on November 4, 2016.
ANAF president, Dragos Doros, stated in early October that the institution he represents wants to complete by the end of this year, the enrollment in ghiseul.ro portal so that tax and fee payment can be carried out online too.
According to Doros, the taxes and fees payment is now possible with the banking card in all ANAF offices.
