Another shopping centre in Bucharest. When will Veranda Mall open?

Veranda Mall, the shopping centre within the Bucur Obor area, built on the former platform of the Prodplast factory, will open its gates on October 27, according to the tenants and the public information posted on mall’s official Facebook account.

The Pogonaru family-controlled mall joins Bucharest’s full of malls landscape which on September 1 received another mall, ParkLake, in Titan area. There is no modern shopping mall in Bucur Obor area of Capital’s District 2, so Veranda Mall opening is eagerly awaited by local residents.

Organized on two levels, Veranda has a Gross Building Area of circa 65.000 square metres with a Gross Leasable Area of 25,000 square metres and over 1.200 parking spaces.

Veranda is designed by the renowned international architects Chapman Taylor and aims to revitalise and complement the existing facilities in Bucur Obor.

The tenants who will occupy the largest areas are Carrefour hypermarket (approx. 10,000 sqm) and H&M (2,000 sqm). Fashion offer will be completed by CCC, Deichmann, Pimkie, Triumf, Lora Shoes, Zaza, Piazza Italia and Le Cashmere Heritage.

Local residents in Obor area will find in the shopping centre other brands as Pepco, Yves Rocher, Optiblu, Luxury Avenue, Me2You, Petmag, Diverta bookstore and Sensiblu pharmacy.
