Italian Ariston launched Ariston Net app through Ariston Cloud platform by which the heating and hot water temperature can be set, modified and controlled anytime and anywhere, using the smartphone, tablet or PC.
“Ariston NET offers you a better way to maximise your comfort at home: in winter, with frost protection mode, in summer and whilst you are on holiday. You can schedule the comfort level according to your habits… and also override the schedule when your plans suddenly change. You can set different temperatures for different zones in the house. With the same app you can manage temperatures at different houses, too,” Catalin Draguleanu, Country Manager Ariston Thermo Romania said on Tuesday in a press conference.
According to him, the increased awareness of energy consumption and related advice, thanks to reports and statistics, can reduce the energy bill up by 25 percent.
Moreover, if something goes wrong a real-time notification appears on the device. A real-time notification is also pushed to the after sales service centre, providing an error description of the problem. The problem can be immediately identified and, if possible, fixed by the service centre remotely in the shortest possible time.
The new Ariston Net app is compatible with the latest Ariston wall-hung boilers – Genius Premium Evo and Clas Premium Evo. It’s necessary that the central heating system to be equipped with Ariston Sensys Net multi-zone kit, consisting of thermoregulatory device and a gateway, available in Wi-fi.
In the future, the system interface Sensys could be also sold separately and adapted to other generation of boilers. Its price is estimated at around RON 800. Currently, the entire heating system with the Ariston Sensys Net kit is evaluated at RON 4,000.
According to Draguleanu, the Romanian heating market using wall-hung boilers will reach at this year-end at 2.20 million units, up by 436 percent from 2012.
