As of this September, the Austria’s TPA Group, one of the leading tax advisory and auditing services companies in Central and South East Europe, is expanding its operations in Romania opening a new office in Cluj (northwestern Romania), a press release informs.
By integrating the Cluj-based firm IAS Expert, now rebranded as TPA Transilvania, TPA Romania is broadening its national reach by adding a key regional office and 22 professionals to its team.
Sorana Cernea, founding partner of IAS Expert, will be the partner in charge of the TPA Transilvania office.
The Cluj office is TPA Romania’s first regional branch and its second office countrywide after its headquarters in Bucharest. With this new regional presence, TPA intends to strengthen existing partnerships and become the number one choice of strategic partner for companies looking to establish themselves in the area.
“We are extremely happy to be opening this new office, as Cluj is a real asset for our group, both in terms of its geographical location and its economic standing. The decision to open our first regional office in Cluj and Transylvania reflects the growing demand we see coming from our clients for high quality services in accounting, audit, tax and legal services in this fast growing region of the country. In Sorana and her team we found the perfect colleagues together with whom to take this next step in the development of the TPA Group,” explains Jan Glas, Managing Partner of TPA Romania and member of the CEE Steering Committee of the TPA Group.
Present on the Romanian market since 1998, TPA Romania offers its clients a complete range of financial services (accounting, payroll, audit, tax and legal).
