Avangate (soon 2Checkout), the global eCommerce and subscription billing platform for software, SaaS, and digital solutions, with Romanian roots, which recently acquired the 2Checkout global payment processor, will hire 45 IT specialists for the Romanian office in the next two months.
According to a press release, most of the positions target young professionals who want to specialize in activities such as risk analysis and anti-fraud systems management for online orders, technical support, financial and chargeback operations, as well as financial analysis and sales. There are also positions for experienced IT specialists to support the technical development and integration of Avangate and 2Checkout solutions globally.
“We are also interested in growing internally the professionals that we need, by promoting our team mates. We have a promotion rate close to 20 percent in the last year. We support the development through access to new systems and technologies, trainings, international conferences and certifications, but also by exchanging experience with colleagues from other regions,” said Madalina Teodorescu, HR director Avangate said.
2Checkout, together with Avangate, has currently 260 employees globally, of which 70 percent work in the Romanian office, the rest being in United States, Netherlands, UK and Russia.
