The private jet used by Interagro’s shareholder, Romanian Ioan Niculae, for business trips, is put up for sale on account of debts that the insolvent Interagro group has to Banca Transilvania.
”Hawker 900 XP mid-sized private jet is equipped with wide cabin space, high altitude flight capability, flight autonomy over a radius of 5463 km. The model is a 8 passenger seating, a pilot, a co-pilot and a cabin crew. The aircraft’s facilities are specific to the services provided for business trips,” the annoucement reads.
The auction date has not yet been established, but the starting price for the sale of the plane is USD 5,771,000. The airplane has 2,250 h: 17 minutes flying hours out of a total of 6,000 TBO Eng Hr.
According to Banca Transilvania’s announcement, the plane was manufactured in 2011 and has two TFE731-50R-1H Honeywell engines. The plane is registered in Romania but operated flights throughout Europe, with a flight autonomy of 2,850 nautical miles.
Interagro announced the sale of the plane in the spring of 2015, but the transaction failed and Banca Transilvania had to execute Inter Aviation the luxury airline taxi, owned by the businessman’s daughter, Adina Niculae, through Casa de Insolventa Transilvania.
Businessmen Ioan Niculae, at one time Romania’s richest, paid USD 14 million to acquire the Hawker 900XP which can reach a speed of 861 kilometers per hour.
