Armand Group, a Romanian player on the renewable energy market, both internally and in Europe, along with UK’s Greentech, announced they would build solar projects, following EUR 20 million investment.
“They will benefit from the new Feed-in Tariff concept, which is expected to be implemented this year in Romania. With British funding and Romanian engineering, the two companies are planning that by end-2016 to develop 20 MW of new solar projects in Romania,” a press release informs.
The two companies signed an agreement for the funding and development of several photovoltaic projects with capacity below 500 KW.
Armand Group was founded in 2009 in Timisoara and is one of the active companies on the market of renewable energy. In time the group branched out and specialized in agriculture and constructions.
