Carlsberg brings five new beers in Romania

United Romanian Breweries Bereprod (URBB), local subsidiary of the Danish group Carlsberg Breweries extends its portfolio with 5 new special beers: Grimbergen Ambreé, Kronenbourg 1664 Blanc, Angelo Poretti 4 Luppoli Original, Angelo Poretti 5 Luppoli Bock Chiara and Angelo Poretti 6 Luppoli Bock Rossa.

“Beer market evolution during 2016 has confirmed that the premium and super premium segments, on which URBB focuses, are on an upward trend in consumer preferences. Guinness is the stout beer with which we started this ‘Timeless Collection’. Not by chance last year when we celebrated 500 years since the Bavarian Law on Beer’s Purity has appeared, Weihenstephan – the most appreciated Weizen beer in the world, came into our portfolio. Thus, our beer collection includes brands with tradition in brewing, internationally renowned and an extensive expertise, almost 1,000 years – which translates into quality products, proven to be timeless,” Shachar Shaine, URBB President said in a press release.

The new products are available in HoReCa as of the beginning of this month.

Grimbergen Ambreé – is a Amber Ale abbey beer, Kronenbourg 1664 Blanc – a wheat beer with flavors of citrus and coriander, Italian Angelo Poretti 4 Luppoli Original – is a lager beer, while Angelo Poretti 5 Luppoli Bock Chiara and Angelo Poretti 6 Luppoli Bock Rossa – are block beers. These five beers joins URBB special beers portfolio including Guinness, Kilkenny and Weihenstephaner Hefe Weissbier.

I started my way in life with the intention to pursue a teaching career. But, after graduating from the Faculty of Letters – the University of Bucharest in 2004, my first job as a reporter at one of the leading newspapers in Romania changed my perspective. I have specialized in communication and communication campaigns, following the Master's courses at the Faculty of Journalism and Communication Studies (FJSC), attending a BBC Communications scholarship.
I’ve represented several important publications in Romania as business journalist, being accredited in the finance and banking field. In 2015, I had the opportunity to interview the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Mission Chief for Romania, Andrea Schaechter. As business journalist, I also had the opportunity to interview ministers for Economics and Commercial
Affairs offices within different embassies in Romania or officials of large companies investing on the domestic market.
After almost 15 years of journalism, I still want to explore new ways, to inform and stay updated. That’s why The Romania Journal project fits me so well.
Today I describe myself as a passionate about the history of world culture, having a PhD in Hebrew Culture and Civilization, after a scholarship at the University of Haifa International School, as a language addict, an environmental activist, pet lover and traveler.
