German Nicolas Mahler will take over the position of chief financial officer (CFO) of Telekom Romania as of August 1, replacing Greek Anastasios Tzoulas, who announced his intention to leave the Deutsche Telekom group.

After 17 years spent in Bucharest, Tzoulas will withdraw at the end of this month.
German Nicolas Mahler is currently holding the position of first vice-president and member in the management team of the services division of Deutsche Telekom, the majority stakeholder of Telekom Romania.
At the same time, there will be a new Chief Residential Marketing and National Sales Officer of Telekom Romania. Former CEO and member of the managing board at Makedonski Telekom, Andreas Elsener, will take over the position of Chief Residential Marketing and National Sales Officer in Romania as of September 1.
He will coordinate the commercial activities for the residential customers.
Andreas Elsner is replacing František Mala, who had joined Telekom Romania in May 2016.
