Egypt bought 180,000 tons of wheat from Romania

The Egyptian General Authority for Supply (GASC) announced on Wednesday that Egypt has bought 300,000 tons of wheat from Romania and France, with delivery during March 1 to 10, Agerpres informs, quoting international press agencies.

Egypt bought 120,000 tons of wheat from Romania from the company Ameropa, other 60,000 tons of wheat also from Romania, but from the company Nidera and 60,000 tons of wheat from France to the company Soufflet and other 60,000 tons of wheat in France from Lecureur, said the GASC vice-president, Mamdouh Abdel Fattah. According to him, the average price was USD 236.25 per ton, the price includes transport.
