eMAG Fashion targets sales amounting to EUR 7.5 M in the first year

Romanian online retailer eMAG.ro started selling clothing, shoes and accessories, once with the launch of the Fashion category, for which it estimates sales amounting to EUR 7.5 million in the first year. At the same time, the retailer launches its own fashion brand – RELEASE, the company said on Tuesday.

At the moment, the eMAG fashion category consists of 14,000 items and starting with the next season it will be extended to 25,000 articles. The range includes local brands such as Nissa, Raspberry, Carmencita, TinaR, Lashez, Otter, Madame, Condur, Meli Melo and international brands such as Little Mistress, Selected, Menbur, Aldo, Lacoste, Guess, Lucien Piccard, Caravelle, Celio, YVY Bags, Yepme.

In the first year after its launch, eMAG Fashion aims to have more than 150,000 orders totaling EUR 7.5 million.

The fashion category’s customers will benefit from rapid delivery, 24/7 call center and return service within 30 days. All the customers will benefit from simple return service.

The online store is owned by Naspers group 74.2 percent and Iulian Stanciu – 25.8 percent.
