Imports of crude oil fell by 9.3 pc in the first two months of 2015

Romania has imported in the first two months of 2015 a quantity of 1.063 million tons of crude oil equivalent, by 108,700 toe (9.3%) lower than the imported quantity during the same period last year, according to data centralized by the National Statistics Institute (INS).

Oil output totalled 611,300 toe, by 1.6% (10,200 toe) lower than in January-February 2013 period.

Last year, oil imports totalled 6.727 million toe (up by 27% as compared to 2013). The oil output amounted in 2014 to 3.788 million toe, by 2% lower than the previous year.
