Groupe Atlantic Romania Invests €25M in Indirect Coil Boiler Plant

Groupe Atlantic Romania, the local subsidiary of Atlantic Societe Francaise de Developpement Thermique, is building a factory where indirect coil boilers will be produced, in Prahova. The company will use the social capital, already increased in two stages, to finance this investment for which it has already received over 5 million euros of state aid, according to the Ministry of Finance.

At the end of 2023, the French company Groupe Atlantic announced plans to build a factory in the PWP Bucharest North industrial park, located in Prahova County. Production is set to begin in the last quarter of this year.

To finance this investment, successive capital increases were made. By the end of 2023, the capital of the Romanian subsidiary of Groupe Atlantic was increased by 51.8 million lei, according to information from the Trade Register.

Groupe Atlantic Romania received state aid in the amount of 5.25 million euros, on November 7, 2023, in the context of assuming an investment of 8.75 million euros in eligible expenses that involves the creation of a number of 158 jobs.
