Mazda sales in Romania up by 20 pc in H1

Mazda sales in Romania increased in the first half by 20% against the same period last year, to 457 units, the best-selling model being Mazda 3.
The Mazda 3 compact class was sold in 189 units, up by 54% and on the second place was situated Mazda CX-5, with 133 units.
“In June 99 units were sold, 45 of them Mazda3. The new Mazda CX-3, small class SUV manufacturer’s range, debuted in June in Romania with 22 units sold, being the second most sold model during that month. Mazda’s market share in June reached one of the highest values ever recorded in Romania by the company, 2.3% of the import car segment, based on registrations situation,” a statement released by Mazda Romania reads.
With the launch of the new Mazda MX-5 Roadster this fall, the range of Mazda vehicles will be completely renewed, it added.
