AS Piletilevi PLG (PLG), the largest ticketing operator in Central and Eastern Europe, has completed the full acquisition of its Romanian entities — Bilete.ro, Entertix.ro, and Myticket.ro.
PLG has had a strong presence in the Romanian market since mid-2023, when it acquired the majority stake in Bilete.ro, the country’s oldest ticketing company. In December 2024, it finalized the acquisition of Ticketing Nation S.R.L., the operator of Entertix.ro and Myticket.ro. Together, the merged companies offer the most comprehensive ticketing services available in Romania.

On July 4, the transaction was completed through the acquisition of the remaining shares held by minority shareholders Răzvan Opran, Ion Stănciulea, and Andreea Pop.

This transaction marks the natural continuation of PLG’s original market entry strategy in Romania. The founding shareholders remained involved during the transition period to support integration and ensure operational stability. Once the market was consolidated, PLG assumed full ownership.

Sven Nuutmann, Chairman of the PLG Board, stated:
We are excited to complete this phase of our strategy in Romania, a key market for our group. The initial shareholder structure allowed for a smooth integration and consolidation process. We appreciate the collaboration of the former minority shareholders throughout this journey. PLG is committed to strengthening its long-term position locally. We remain confident in the continued growth of Romania’s event market and its increasing role as a strategic hub in the region.”

Răzvan Opran, co-founder and former shareholder, added:
This transaction is not an end but rather a significant milestone in the evolution of this project. We are proud of what we have built and of the partnership developed with PLG — characterized by transparency, mutual respect, and long-term vision. We remain close to the business as advisors, ready to support its ongoing transformation and contribution to Romania’s cultural and entertainment scene.”

This milestone concludes a bold year of regional expansion for PLG. In June 2025, the group acquired Ticketportal, the leading ticketing platform in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, marking the largest transaction in PLG’s history. With this acquisition, PLG’s annual ticketing volume has increased to over €600 million, selling more than 21 million tickets and attracting 160 million visits per year across its platforms.

By consolidating local champions in Romania, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, and the Baltic countries, PLG continues to build the most comprehensive and integrated ticketing group in Central and Eastern Europe — serving all types of events, across every genre and venue, with scale, technology, and local expertise.
