The Competition Council has approved the transaction through which Antalis SA intends to acquire certain assets of Xerox (Romania) Echipamente si Servicii SA.

The transaction covers the business and all assets of Xerox Romania involved in the distribution of fine and office paper in Romania.

Antalis SA is part of the Antalis group, which operates in the distribution of paper, packaging, and visual communication solutions across 32 countries.

“Following its analysis, the Competition Council found that the notified transaction does not pose significant obstacles to effective competition in the Romanian market or any part of it and that there are no serious doubts regarding its compatibility with a normal competitive environment.

The decision will be published on the website of the national competition authority after the removal of confidential information,” says the Council in a press release.
