Competition Council Approves Tenuta Odobești Takeover by Cramele Recaș & Mosconi Fabrizio

The Competition Council authorized the transaction through which Cramele Recaș S.A. intends to take over the company Tenuta Odobești S.R.L., together with Mosconi Fabrizio.
Prior to the transaction, Mosconi Fabrizio fully owned Tenuta Odobești. Cramele Recaș is a wine producing company from Romania. The company is based in Recaș, Timiș county.
The company is part of the Cramele Recaș group, which carries out several activities, from the cultivation of vines for wine grapes to the processing of grapes, the manufacture and sale of wine.
Tenuta Odobești S.R.L. is active in the field of wine production and wholesale trade.
Following the analysis, the Competition Council found that this operation does not raise significant obstacles to effective competition on the Romanian market or on a substantial part of it, and there are no serious doubts regarding its compatibility with a normal competitive environment. The decision will be published on the website of the national competition authority, after the removal of confidential information.
Cramele Recas is a premium wine estate located in Romania. Founded in 1998 it is a family-owned Romanian/British company.
