The Competition Council is reviewing the transaction by which Kronospan Holdings South Limited intends to acquire ZG Timber Sebes S.R.L. ZG Timber Sebes S.R.L has production capacities for timber and pellets, located in Sebeș Municipality, Alba County, Romania.
Kronospan Holdings South Limited specializes in the production and distribution of particleboard (PAL, MDF, OSB) and melamine-faced boards.
In accordance with the provisions of the Competition Law (no. 21/1996), this transaction must be authorized by the Competition Council, which will assess it in order to establish its compatibility with a normal competitive environment and will issue a decision within the deadlines provided by law.
