CRF Health to launch new office in Romania

Pennsylvania-based CRF Health, important global provider of patient-centered eSource technology and service solutions for the life sciences industry, will invest in a new office location and workforce in Romania, a press release informs on Tuesday.

Supporting the company’s on-going growth strategy, the facility, which will be based in the economic center of lasi, is due to open in the first quarter of 2017.

The new office will support CRF Health’s existing sites at locations across the US, UK and Finland, the release reads.

“Romania is recognized as a growing market for clinical trials and technology, and the opening of our facility will enable CRF Health to offer our global customers a more extensive range of services, as well as regionalized support from our dedicated customer teams,” comments Rachael Wyllie, CEO, CRF Health.

He adds that Romania has a rich talent pool of highly skilled professionals who will be able to contribute immensely to company’s goal of achieving better clinical trials data and helping to simplify the path to approval for life-changing medicines.

“The region has become a hub for many global companies and I look forward to the new opportunities that this investment will bring to our growing region,” Mayor of Iasi, Mihai Chirica, said, attending the launching event.

I started my way in life with the intention to pursue a teaching career. But, after graduating from the Faculty of Letters – the University of Bucharest in 2004, my first job as a reporter at one of the leading newspapers in Romania changed my perspective. I have specialized in communication and communication campaigns, following the Master's courses at the Faculty of Journalism and Communication Studies (FJSC), attending a BBC Communications scholarship.
I’ve represented several important publications in Romania as business journalist, being accredited in the finance and banking field. In 2015, I had the opportunity to interview the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Mission Chief for Romania, Andrea Schaechter. As business journalist, I also had the opportunity to interview ministers for Economics and Commercial
Affairs offices within different embassies in Romania or officials of large companies investing on the domestic market.
After almost 15 years of journalism, I still want to explore new ways, to inform and stay updated. That’s why The Romania Journal project fits me so well.
Today I describe myself as a passionate about the history of world culture, having a PhD in Hebrew Culture and Civilization, after a scholarship at the University of Haifa International School, as a language addict, an environmental activist, pet lover and traveler.
