As of June, Dan Bulucea, currently Country Manager of Google Romania, will take over the helm of Google’s office in Singapore as New Business Director, a press release informs on Monday.
Romanian Bulucea will be in charge of developing new business opportunities in the Asia-Pacific region, from Japan, China or India to Australia and New Zealand.
However, Dan Bulucea will still lead the local office until the appointment of the new Country Manager of Google Romania. He was responsible for developing Google’s presence and strategy in Romania, from opening the local office in 2010.
Previously, Dan Bulucea worked within Microsoft where he held various roles, including Business and Marketing Director for the Romanian subsidiary, and Senior Platform Strategy Manager at the Microsoft Central & Eastern European Headquarters in Munich. Prior to that, he was responsible for the overall platform adoption within the local market for Microsoft Romania.
He holds an Executive MBA and a Bachelor degree in Computer Science.
