Domnești-Țegheș: The new residential destination in western Bucharest

The western area of Bucharest is rapidly developing, with Domnești-Țegheș emerging as a prime residential destination, supported by recent infrastructure investments and modern real estate projects. The completion of A0 South Highway – Lot 3, scheduled for April 2025, along with the expansion of Prelungirea Ghencea to four lanes up to the Domnești Overpass, will significantly improve accessibility, reducing travel time and eliminating transit traffic from the area.

Over the past 15 years, the residential market in Domnești-Țegheș has experienced steady growth, with the number of completed homes doubling from 3,274 in 2010 to 6,251 in 2023. According to the National Institute of Statistics, the usable area for which building permits were issued for residential units in 2023 reached 48,500 square meters, double the figure from 2010, signaling accelerated expansion.
