Ecofinance, a financial technology company, has appointed Rucsandra Larisa Stanciu as the Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Stanciu has been a long-standing management team member, successfully leading Ecofinance Romania operations for seven years. The main priorities at this stage for the company cover digitalization, automation, and geographical expansion.
In her new role, she will take over the leadership of the Ecofinance executive team and general overview of the company and the countries it operates in. Stanciu succeeds Dmitry Tsymber, the Co-founder, who will take on a non-executive role, become the Chairperson of the Board of Directors, and continue to be involved on a strategic level, guiding the vision of Ecofinance while leaving the management in capable and experienced hands.
“As the company grows, we enter new countries and broaden our product offering. To effectively implement an ambitious expansion strategy in the coming years, it is imperative to appoint a fully dedicated CEO. Consequently, I will remain devoted to the company and guide our vision forward as well as actively engage in investor relations,” comments Dmitry Tsymber, the Co-founder of Ecofinance. “One of our core values is to grow talent, therefore I am glad of this internal promotion that is based on the merit of the successful performance of Ecofinance Romania. Rucsandra has been an invaluable member of our team and has played a vital role in the success since the beginning of our operations in this market. Her relentless commitment to excellence has propelled professional growth and significantly impacted the success of our projects.”
Before joining the Dyninno Group, Rucsandra had more than ten years of experience in top banks and financial institutions like Raiffeisen, Garanti, Bancpost, and Citibank, covering multiple functions in sales, channel relationships, and operations. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance & banking along with multiple diplomas and certifications in leadership and industry-related skills.
“I am honored and excited to lead Ecofinance into the next phase of growth and prosperity. With the support and dedication of my team, I am confident that we will continue to redefine industry standards and make a positive impact in the countries we operate in. I will prioritize not only digitalization, automation, and launching new markets, but also a collaborative team environment, fostering closer cooperation between offices and countries,” highlights Rucsandra Larisa Stanciu, the CEO of Ecofinance.
In the first quarter of 2024, Ecofinance Romania experienced a 43% growth in profit and over 25% increase in volumes issued year-on-year. During the same period, Ecofinance Moldova saw a 41% increase in profit and a nearly 25% rise in issued volumes. Last year also marked the launch of a mobile app and a virtual assistant. The most recent technological addition was Answering Machine Detection, a machine learning solution that tells apart automated responses from human interaction during calls and allows to increase contact rates and efficiency in answering clients’ questions.
