eMAG Group posted an increase of incomes by 17.5% in 2018, mounting to RON 4.77 billion.
“The diversified range of products and improving delivery and payment services have prompted an increase in the number of clients and of the turnover. We’ll continue to invest in technology, as the potential is high both in Romania and in the region as well,” said Tudor Manea, vice-president eMAG.
At present, eMAG reached 9.44 million clients in the region, more by 1,868,600 than the previous year, with 975,000 of them coming from Romania.
52% of the products sold on their platform comes from those 16,350 listed sellers. By 2020, the group aims to reach 40,000 sellers through Marketplace.
The group eyes investments of over EUR 150 million in technology in the upcoming 5 years.
