Epoque Hotel aims 14 pc growth in F&B and events in 2017

For this year, the owners of the 5-star Epoque boutique hotel in Bucharest forecast the same growth of 7 percent of the business, counting on the constantly high performance of the accommodation structure, a press release informs. They also expect a EUR 2.6 million turnover and a 14 percent development of the F&B and events segment.

At the same time, it’s expected a 30 percent sales increase of hotel’s fine dining restaurant, L’Atelier, as well as a 5 percent increase of the MICE segment.

“Epoque Hotel reported a turnover of EUR 2.4 million in 2017 is almost exclusively dedicated to further enhancing the premium services we offer and to perfecting the boutique experience. Epoque maintains the status of leader on the luxury segment, and we are focusing on the values that secured that status so far: ensuring highly customized services and a complete travel experience for our guests. We started 2017 with minute refurbishment works of furniture and interiors, and we are now in process of full renovation and subtle redesign of our VIP floor. As for the rest of the year, we expect an extra increase of the MICE segment after an otherwise fabulous 2016, as well as a remarkable evolution of our a la carte restaurant”, declared Diana Popescu, Owner & CEO Epoque Hotel and L’Atelier-l’art culinaire.

Epoque Hotel reported a turnover of EUR 2.4 million in 2016 and a 7 percent year-on-year growth, due to a 33 percent raise in MICE sales and to a 20 percent growth of its à la carte restaurant.

Hotel Epoque caters to free independent tourists who opt for boutique properties as first travel choice. Hotel’s guests are 85 percent international travelers coming from Europe, Asia and America, mainly from markets such as: USA, UK, Israel, France or Germany.
