European Commission Reimburses Romania €1.12 Billion
The European Commission has officially reimbursed Romania the amount of 1.12 billion euros, namely money from the European Agricultural Guarantee Fund (EAGF), the Payments and Intervention Agency for Agriculture (APIA) announced on Friday.
“In accordance with the EAGF expenditure declaration, transmitted by the Agricultural Payments and Intervention Agency (APIA) to the European Commission, on January 7, 2025, European funds representing reimbursements from the European Agricultural Guarantee Fund (EAGF) in the amount of 1.12 billion euros were transferred to the Romanian state accounts,” a statement from the institution states.
