Cluj-based Farmec, Romania’s largest cosmetics producer, continues its ambitious plans for 2017. Farmec announces its stores network expansion nationwide, by opening 15 new retail spaces this year, as a press release informs on Tuesday.
The local company also intends strengthening the relations with foreign partners and signing new collaborations to open up new stores abroad.
“We estimate that all these measures will be also materialized through an increase in turnover by more than 15 percent,” Codrean Pop, Sales Manager Farmec, stated.
The company’s development strategy includes also the launch of new ranges and products, as well as the upgrading of Farmec range. However, the cosmetics producer will invest in development trainings for employees working in sales and will streamline the entire operational chain within this department.
Last year, Farmec recorded a monthly average of 14,000 customers, in over 22,500 retail locations.
The company currently has 11 stores nationwide: 3 stores in Cluj-Napoca, 2 stores in Bucharest and one in the Sibiu, Timisoara, Brasov, Constanta, Arad and Targu Mures., The company opened abroad in collaboration with local partners 8 Gerovital stores in Italy, Spain, Hungary, France, Greece and the UAE.
