The National Statistics Institute (INS) has confirmed on Friday the estimates released at mid-November regarding the 4.3% economic growth, as gross series, in Q3 against the same period last year.
Thus, in Q3 2018, the GDP increased by 4.3% as gross series and by 4.1% as seasonally adjusted series against Q3 2017.
Against Q2, the GDP in Q3 grew by 1.9% in real terms.
“The Gross Domestic Product – as seasonally adjusted figures – estimated for Q3 was of RON 238.765 billion in current prices, up in real terms by 1.9% against Q2 2018 and by 4.1% against Q3 2018,” the INS release reads.
In the first nine months of the year, the GDP grew by 4.2% as gross series and as seasonally adjusted series, as compared to the same period last year.
