Bucharest Stock Exchange Opens Monday Higher on Most Indices

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened Monday’s session with gains on most indices, and the turnover was 5.84 million lei (1.15 million euros), 30 minutes after the start of trading.
The main BET index, which shows the evolution of the 20 most liquid companies, recorded an appreciation of 0.92%, and the BET-Plus index, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the BVB, recorded an increase of 0.90%.
At the same time, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid titles, gained 0.84%, while the benchmark for investment fund performance, BET-BK, appreciated by 0.64%.
The BET-FI index of SIFs recorded a depreciation of 0.01%, and BET-NG, the index of ten companies in the energy and utilities sector, recorded an advance of 1%.
The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, recorded an increase of 0.97%.
According to BVB data, the largest increases in share values were recorded by: Armătura (+13.01%), Condmag, (+8.33%) and Antibiotice (+5.67%). On the other hand, the shares that decreased were: Sinteza (-14.93%), Romcab (-5.49%) and Electromagnetica (-3.36%).
