Finance minister Alexandru Nazare has announced on Friday after a meeting with Daniel Dines, UiPath founder, that they had discussed about an RPA (Robotic Process Automation) centre of excellence to be established within the Finance Ministry.
“I had a working meeting with Daniel Dines, the founder of the first Romanian unicorn, UiPath, I personally congratulated him for the success of being listed at the New York Stock Exchange. During the meeting we discussed about the potential of the RPA technology to accelerate the digitalisation initiatives within the Finance Ministry. We also identified a good opportunity to collaborate by setting up a centre of excellence within the ministry.
Such a centre of excellence would represent an innovation for the Romanian public administration, by providing a boost to accelerate the digitization process that we have already started across the fiscal administration”, said minister Nazare.
