French Capgemini grows Romanian presence, opening new office in Suceava

Capgemini, one of the world’s foremost providers of consulting, technology and outsourcing services, extends its business in Romania, by opening a new office in Suceava (north-eastern Romania), local media informs. Capgemini has also offices in Bucharest and Iasi.

For starters, the French company will hire up to 160 people and the recruitment process will begin in the coming days. The activity in the new office in Iasi is scheduled to begin in the first half of this year.

“Suceava is located near our head office in Iasi and is a city with a long academic tradition due to the well-known ‘Stefan cel Mare’ University , with many faculties, including economics, technical and philological, with over 9,000 students. In the new office, Capgemini will continue to provide support and infrastructure management services, according to ITIL methodology, as well as monitoring and hosting services,” said Marcin Nowak, Delivery Centre Director, Infrastructure Services Eastern Europe, Capgemini.

The company seeks specialists in IT, infrastructure management, Help Desk support and project management, fluent in least one foreign language: English, French, Spanish or Italian.

Currently, the company has 600 employees: 240 in the capital and 360 in Iasi.

France’s Capgemini recorded a net profit of RON 3.5 million on the local market and RON 73.5 million in turnover.

Last summer, Capgemini representatives announced that the company will reach over 2,000 employees in Romania in 3-5 years.

With more than 190,000 people, Capgemini is present in over 40 countries and celebrates its 50^th Anniversary year in 2017. A global leader in consulting, technology and outsourcing services, the Group reported 2016 global revenues of EUR 12.5 billion.
