Game World Group, the new tenant of AFI Tech Park 1

AFI Tech Park business campus, developed by AFI Europe Romania, signed a new lease agreement of approx. 2,000 sqm in AFI Tech Park 1 with Game World Group, a press release informs.

Construction works on the first office building, AFI Tech Park 1, which offers 20,000 sqm GLA office spaces, will be completed in Q2 2018. In addition, the building offers a retail area of 2,000 sqm, which are already signed by World Class gym (1,500 sqm) and Quick Service Restaurant “1 Minute” (110 sqm), while currently remaining spaces are under negotiations with a canteen and service shops. AFI Tech Park 1 will offer to its future tenants 220 underground parking spaces.

The investment in the first phase of the project is over EUR 30 million.

“We are proud to begin this year with announcing a new 2,000 sqm tenant for our future business campus. We are still in advanced negotiations with other companies from IT&C, pharma and FMCG, for additional spaces in the first office building and we are confident that companies will realize the benefits of relocating to AFI Tech Park which is a new Class A office park developed close to the City Center,” says David Hay, CEO AFI Europe Romania.

The entire AFI Tech Park project offers 56,000 sqm GLA of Class A offices, comprising of two office buildings with GF+8 and one office tower of 14 floors.

I started my way in life with the intention to pursue a teaching career. But, after graduating from the Faculty of Letters – the University of Bucharest in 2004, my first job as a reporter at one of the leading newspapers in Romania changed my perspective. I have specialized in communication and communication campaigns, following the Master's courses at the Faculty of Journalism and Communication Studies (FJSC), attending a BBC Communications scholarship.
I’ve represented several important publications in Romania as business journalist, being accredited in the finance and banking field. In 2015, I had the opportunity to interview the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Mission Chief for Romania, Andrea Schaechter. As business journalist, I also had the opportunity to interview ministers for Economics and Commercial
Affairs offices within different embassies in Romania or officials of large companies investing on the domestic market.
After almost 15 years of journalism, I still want to explore new ways, to inform and stay updated. That’s why The Romania Journal project fits me so well.
Today I describe myself as a passionate about the history of world culture, having a PhD in Hebrew Culture and Civilization, after a scholarship at the University of Haifa International School, as a language addict, an environmental activist, pet lover and traveler.
