In the coming period, US auto giant General Motors (GM) will open a call center in Bucharest, zf.ro informs. Thus, the office will allow the owners of OnStar-equipped vehicles to call directly a GM consultant.
“Global Connected Customer Experience, currently operating in Luton, UK, is planning a second Customer Engagement Centre in Bucharest, to support customers across Europe using OnStar”, General Motors Europe officials confirmed.
In this context, GM has leased 4,000 sqm of office space in Skanska’s Green Court Building C in Barbu Vacarescu area. The office space would help to recruit at least 400 employees.
GM offers fleet telematics solutions designed to help reduce costs, improve productivity, and enhance driver safety.
“There is a wide array of vehicle information available to ensure that you are getting the business intelligence you need to improve your fleet operations. Relying upon the OnStar technology available on most vehicles, these solutions are very cost effective as no additional hardware expense needs to be incurred. The vehicle data is sourced from the factory-installed hardware and, therefore, is reliable and tamper-resistant,” the US auto giant shows the strengths of its service.
With just a push of the blue OnStar button, the drivers will have access to a variety of services, including: Automatic Crash Response, Stolen Vehicle Assistance, Wi-Fi Hotspot, RemoteLink, Turn-by-Turn Directions, Advanced Diagnostics.
