GoTech World 2023, the largest IT & Digital expo-conference in Central and Eastern Europe, will take place on November 8 and 9 at Romexpo, Pavilion B1. The central theme this year is artificial intelligence, bringing together over 160 international and local technology experts who will share the latest innovations and best practices in the field. Moreover, more than 100 exhibiting companies will showcase their top technological solutions.
The official opening of the event is scheduled for Wednesday, November 8, at 9:30 AM, with notable guests including Bogdan-Gruia Ivan – the Minister of Research, Innovation, and Digitalization, Dumitru Alaiba – Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization in the Government of the Republic of Moldova, Andrei Niculae – Vice President of the Authority for Romania’s Digitalization, Sabin Sărmaș – Chairman of the IT&C Commission in the Chamber of Deputies, Valeriu Ștefan Zgonea – President of ANCOM, Florin Popa – Business to Business Director of Orange Business. The discussion will be moderated by Alexandru Măxineanu, Managing Partner at Universum Expo. The event will commence with an official message from the President of Romania, delivered by Presidential Adviser Cosmin-Ștefan Marinescu.
GoTech World 2023 maintains the successful structure and organization of previous editions, featuring an extensive exhibition area where leaders from the IT, tech, and digital industries will present innovative solutions, along with 11 debate stages where notable experts will address a variety of topics.
Over 100 exhibiting companies will present cutting-edge solutions from a wide range of domains at GoTech World 2023, covering everything from hardware equipment to software services, cybersecurity, environmental management, training, consulting, and digital payment solutions.
The event’s principal partner, Orange Business, will showcase the latest security solutions, including Threats Exposures Management, a security solution that uses artificial intelligence to scan, assess, and report security vulnerabilities, particularly in websites, web applications, or other resources with their own public IP addresses. This solution aids in data protection, immediate security measures, and prioritizing issue resolution, accessible through a web platform. Furthermore, the company will present innovations in cloud services, including the Flexible Engine public cloud solution, developed and operated by Orange Business using OpenStack technology, offering Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) for customers.
The GoTech World 2023 edition brings together top experts from each of the 11 stages: Main Stage, Business Transformation, Retail & E-commerce, Smart City & Mobility, AI, Cybersecurity, Sustainability, DevOps, .NET Stage, Java Stage, Product & UX Design. Their presentations and demonstrations collectively provide over 65 hours of high-quality content.
The diverse topics addressed by these experts include the evolution of wearables and their increased intelligence, innovations in blockchain, Web3, and the metaverse, satellite technology, proactive measures to combat data vulnerabilities, digital fraud landscape analysis with a particular focus on identity theft, the assessment of cybersecurity in Romania, and discussions on the CleanTech concept and methods of value generation through sustainable standards.
