Hercesa invested over EUR 15 M in Cismigiu Hotel in the last 5 years

Cismigiu Hotel, one of the most spectacular heritage buildings in Bucharest, celebrates 5 years since inauguration and 105 years since the edifice was built.

According to a press release, Spanish real estate developer Hercesa, the 4-star hotel’s owner, invested over EUR 15 million in the last 5 years.

The occupancy rate of the hotel has increased continuously since the hotel’s opening in December 2012 to 85-88 percent in the peak months of 2016 and 2017. The vast majority (90-95 percent) of the customers are foreigners. Over 85 of them come back.

Moreover, the good reviews received on Booking.com and Tripadvisor have maintained the Cismigiu Hotel in the top 3 hotels in Bucharest during 2014-2017, Alejandro Solano Gallego, one of the shareholders of the Hercesa Cismigiu Group, stated, at the hotel’s anniversary event.

Cismigiu Hotel has 60 suites and fully equipped apartments and a Business Center with 7 meeting rooms.The hotel also hosts the Spanish Cultural Institute Cervantes, Humanitas Bookstore, Ici et La’ Restaurant, Gambrinus beerhouse, as well as a decadent roof top terrace and a practical underground parking.
