DIY-store chain Hornbach will open an online store in Romania on January 23, where customers can choose from over 27,000 products, a press release informs.
“In the context of technological change, the online exploitation helps us to be closer to the needs of our customers. Thus, opening the online store in Romania came as a natural step in the evolution of our business,” Mugurel-Horia Rusu, GM Hornbach Romania stated.
By the end of 2018, over 80 percent of product stock in the Romanian stores will be available online, Hornbach, the release also reads.
“In line with this development strategy, we also plan to launch a mobile app for the online store by the middle of this year,” Rusu added.
Out of the over 27,000 articles presented on the site, most will be delivered to any address in Romania within 2-3 days, the retailer said.
The prices of Hornbach products are the same in online as in the store.
Furthermore, within 30 days of product delivery there is the possibility of returning them or returning to the store.
Hornbach has six stores in Romania: three in Bucharest and one each in Brasov, Timisoara and Sibiu.
