Chinese telecom equipment and smartphone maker Huawei officialy opened its Enterprise Global Service Center (EGSC) in Bucharest, a press release informs. The new EGSC is a unique one-stop multi-service platform, transforming the way customers and partners interact with Huawei. The service center, located in a new facility, covers an area of 2,000 square meters and represents an investment of over EUR 10 million.
“The new Huawei Enterprise Global Service Center consists of four units: technical support, remote delivery, network operation, and marketing and channel support. This extensive service capability combined with a world-class product line and close collaboration with top logistics partners enables Huawei to provide 24/7 global spare parts replacement and cutting-edge remote delivery in more than 170 countries,” Vlad Doicaru, Director Enterprise Huawei Romania.
The Technical Support unit is responsible for supplying spare parts, dispatching service engineers, and providing centralized service request management. The Remote Delivery unit offers a groundbreaking collaboration framework that virtually connects customers with global service experts using smart devices. With this capability, Huawei engineers can guide customers and partners through planning, design, verification, and service-assurance activities, no matter where they are located. The Network Operation unit assists customers through IT outsourcing and Smart Network Operation Services (NOS) to reduce their operating costs and help them focus on their core business. The Marketing and Channel Support unit provides channel consulting services and an exhibition center to help customers and partners learn more about Huawei services.
With the launch of this new EGSC, Huawei consolidates even more its platform services globally, consisting of two similar centers in China and Mexico, five Regional Centers for Technical Assistance (TAC), seven national TACs, 139 spare parts centers worldwide and more than 1,100 city-level warehouses.
“With Enterprise Global Service Center in Bucharest, Huawei continues expanding the Global Service Center, providing multi-network services for different international operators since 2012,” the release reads.
