Hun Lee, new CEO of Samsung Electronics Romania

Samsung Electronics appoints Hun Lee as the Hun Leenew CEO for its Romanian subsidiary, a press release informs.

He is replacing Joseph Kim, who has held this portfolio for the last four years and will continue his career as CEO of Samsung Electronics Poland.

Hun Lee (46) will be responsible for managing the activities on the Romanian and Bulgarian markets.

The new CEO joined Samsung Electronics in 2002 as Marketing Manager at the headquarters in Korea. After 10 years of marketing within the company, Hun became director of the European Visual Display Division (2013-2014) and later CEO of Samsung Electronics Czech Republic (2015-2017).

“I’m honored to take over the leadership of Samsung Electronics Romania, a subsidiary with excellent results in recent years. I’m very pleased that this position will allow me to develop my strategic skills and work with a dedicated and enthusiastic team. I think we will together strengthen the Samsung’s leading technology position both in Romania and Bulgaria,” Hun Lee stated.
