The opening marks the return to Bucharest of Europe’s most popular hotel brand, ibis, with a brand-new design and concept, Agora.
New built ibis Bucharest Politehnica features 158 comfortable rooms, an Albert’s Place restaurant, a bar, conference area for up to 150 guests as well as its own parking on site. The property is located in the central-western part of Bucharest, on the Dâmbovița riverside, right in the heart of the western business district of the capital. With its bold Agora concept, the hotel belongs to the second generation of ibis hotels in Romania, and it is the first one to open in Bucharest.
Guests visiting the hotel will benefit from modern, connected, soundproofed rooms, with black-out curtains, spacious bathrooms and highly comfortable beds. The Sweetbed™ by ibis is a hallmark of the brand, which guarantees a quality sleep in all the hotels across the world, thanks to its big, fluffy pillows, super-soft duvet, high-tech mattress that adapts to the body and luxurious mattress topper. The hotel welcomes business travellers, young tourists and families and it also offers rooms for guests with reduced mobility.
The conference area of the hotel offers four flexible rooms with natural light and access to their own private terrace. Merged, the rooms may host large private or corporate events of up to 150 participants. The hotel also benefits of a generous ground parking.
The hotel also features a new and surprising restaurant concept, offering savoury grills and a wide selection of local and French wines. Alberts’s Place is a relaxing, calm and elegant restaurant. It is a wine bar, where the offer evolves during the day. Located by the Dambovita riverside, the newly built ibis Bucharest Politehnica is right in the heart of the capital’s dynamic western business district, an area which hosts some of the most prestigious and fast growing local and international companies.
