Medicover Group’s total business in Romania (the clinics, the Medicover hospital and the Synevo laboratories) increased by over 13 percent in 2015, to RON 252 million, a press release informs.
At the same time, Medicover Hospital in Bucharest registered a major turnover increase in 2015, of over 26 percent compared to 2014 (RON 28 million in 2015 compared to RON 22.2 million in 2014).
Medicover’s national clinics network also registered a significant business increase in the last year, of over 13 percent (RON 66.6 million in 2015 compared to RON 58.9 million in 2014).
Medicover Group’s business model implies that the company’s shareholders reinvest the full profits every year, “to ensure a sustainable development and a high level of quality in its operations”.
“2015 was a busy, and at the same time beneficial year for our company. One of the main achievements was the expansion of our national network through the opening of the Medicover clinic in Timisoara, following an investment of about EUR 600,000,” said Adrian Peake, General Manager of Medicover Romania.
In the first half of 2016, Medicover Romania invested almost EUR 1.5 million in expanding and modernizing its national clinic network. This implied the relocation and expansion of the Ploiesti clinic, also introducing a brand new service – Petroleum Doctor, and of the Brasov clinic, which became the only private clinic in Brasov to conduct bronchoscopy.
Medicover also opened a brand new clinic in Galati, with over 30 medical specialties and ultramodern departments for paediatrics, cardiology, gynaecology, gastroenterology and proctology.
